On a hot sunny day, did a trip to Pulau Pangkor and after many years stepping again in this beautiful Island. One place of attraction which I have never visited before was the historical Dutch Fort (Kota Belanda) which I have always wanted to visit.

From Wiki:

The fort was built by the Dutch in 1670 for storage and protection of tin supplies from the sultanate of Perak. The fort was destroyed in 1690 by the Malays who were discontent with the methods used by the Dutch in obtaining minerals. It was rebuilt by the Dutch in 1743 and a force of 60 soldiers was placed to guard the fort until 1748, when the force was disbanded and the fort abandoned.

Basically you get to see the Fort and also the unique landscape made at this area. Some information are also provided at the place regarding the Fort.

Those who visit, would only spend 10-15 minutes here since there is nothing much to see, if you are planning to snap some selfies/photos then you might spend longer time here. The weather here is Hot, when I arrived it was drizzling for a while but still the sun was out and it was hot! Visit this place at least once in your life to view this historic place.
