Last year while on the way with friends to a function, I managed to stop by this historic place in Penang. Fort Cornwallis which goes back a century ago (1786) was named after Governor General Charles Cornwallis and it still holds it’s original state of cannons, chapel, prisons and storage area.

As you can see, just opposite it is a sea view where people do come and hang out. You can also capture some good photographs here at Fort Cornwallis. If you haven’t been here, this is a place you should come at least once, especially to those who like to travel for heritages in Malaysia.
